Philip Stephens
BioPhilip A. Stephens is a Research Assistant and candidate for the Master of Geographic Information Science degree. Current projects include Open Source Internet mapping for the Connectory project, Graphical User Interface design for the STARS project, implementation of new exploratory visualization techniques in STARS, and the annual IRSR Subject Author Index issue. Thesis title:The Spatial Impact of Place-based Economic Development Policy: The Case of HUBZones in San Diego California Phil's thesis research is focused on spatial analysis of the allocation of economic development zones and subsequent economic impacts to the local and regional economy.
