Mark V. Janikas
Research InterestsSpatial Analysis/Econometrics, Economic Geography and Geocomputation BioMark V. Janikas is a Research Associate and Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Geography at San Diego State University. He also serves as the Assistant Editor of the International Regional Science Review and is the Lab Administrator for the Regional Analysis Laboratory. Mark was awarded a Dissertation Improvement Grant from the National Science Foundation in 2006. His research focuses on the spatial analysis of regional economic growth. Mark employs quantitative methods and geocomputation to analyze the evolution of income distributions from exploratory and confirmatory perspectives.
